16 Different Ways to Touch Each Other

This work is composed of a visual poem made up of 16 drawings and 16 silkscreened words, a wooden box containing a Suite of 16 photogravures, with an edition of 21 EX + 1 A/P, and a video about the action (this work is under construction).

This is a work based on the action of touching, on the subtle or not so subtle differences of this act.

The idea was born from the observation of seeing the petals of a cherry tree fall, and observing the path they travel from the tree to the ground, with a well-defined beginning and end. It is interesting to observe how the movements of the petals occur in an uncontrolled way, they rub against each other, touch each other, grab each other, or sway softly, chase each other, regroup themselves… I find it very poetic how an action can have so many subtleties, it is as a symbolism with actions in life, facts, in how one faces in one way or another, in how the perception of things is very varied, and never similar, according to the spectator.
